Yup in the moment of truth Ruiz after the first knockdown Ruiz bit down on his mouthpiece and kept moving forward.

Parker showed pretty good defence but he was largely happy to survive the 12. He didn't have any plan, tools or desire to turn his defence into offense.

Maybe the bodybuilder wanted to imitate his boxing idol Deontay Wilder and knock Ruiz out early? There are some fighters in the division you can't just knock out in 6 rounds. I think the blob has to take a **** ton of punishment, and be fatigued to even risk doing that. It's been explained lots of times, guys like Tua, Bowe, McCall, Ibeabuchi, Holyfield, Mercer in their primes were all 12 round fighters. Ruiz is another it seems. Joshua 's team should be training for 24 rounds.

Good advice from rival Dillian Whyte on how to beat Ruiz

Whyte from his experience fighting Chisora knows how to cook the opponent well done before going for the kill

Ruiz and Chisora are similar, fire in their bellies, the more you hit them the more they lash out and come forward tough guys

Need to drag it out and drain them

I don't know if he will run or fight or bit of both.

But why does it matter as long as he (from his perspective) wins the fight.

I'm sure he would take a scrappy points win or a knock out or a dodgy decision.

He won't care he just needs to win, move on and forget all about Andy Ruiz, the man is just all wrong for him.

They don't, but the fact is he's not fought like the bigger, taller fighter against any of his decent shorter foes makes me question his team. He's the one fighting, but if he's not implementing their plan then he needs people in his team who can get through to him.

Personally, I don't think they have a proper plan, these shorter fighters should be easy pickings, especially Ruiz. The guy is decent with decent hands, can cut the ring off (slowly) but is there top be mauled, leaned on and pummeled with his slow feet and mediocre defence. All I can think is that Wlad would utterly shut Ruiz out and knock him out.

Totally disagree. Joshua was simply too anxious to end matters in the first fight and he got caught. He will be far more cautious this fight and the difference in class will show. Joshua wins either by wide UD or late TKO stoppage.

Nah, that's just you seeing what you want to see. Ruiz dominated him from start to finish, AJ had lost the first two, the 3rd badly, and proceeded to loose every other round in the match until the stoppage. Not sure what you or any of the people ho think that was a fluke were watching. Because it certainly was not.... on any level. The difference in class showed the first time, when Ruiz won, it will show again.

Mark my words here. When all is said and done, Ruiz, Buster Douglas and Hasim Rahman will all be viewed in essentially the same way.

Well, I did call it beforehand, because I foresaw what was going to happen and how it would play out almost to the letter. It's a pity that after it did, many of you still can't process it.:D

Ruiz walked AJ down from the get go.......put AJ and his "superior" back foot boxing right away......the thing is , AJ never fights tall even when he jabs, he crouches down looking to get into range and start hooking.while over extending...he was and always will be a mid to close range fighter despite his height and reach advantage....his MO is to overpower his opponents, that works for oldtimers like WK or Hypejob Povetkin or against the tame Samoan but it aint working against a fighter like Ruiz who comes to win with a solid boxing back ground.

He has had always questionable stamina and has a poor chin.....he cannot rely on it in a fire fight, Ruiz did, he could not. Concussion my azz.

This is Ruiz's fight to loose not AJ's to win......I repeat myself again, if Ruiz shows up in the same state of mind and body like in the first he will cook AJ's goose again.

IMO, the Bodybuilder is totally mentally shell shocked.

Now lets see if I have to eat crow next week.

Just going thru his resume. Ruiz is no KO machine. If Joshua just play it safe he will win.
