    Bad stoppage but Valdez is a heavy puncher and a good finisher and I think it was only a matter of time even though it was the wrong call.

    Edit: I didn't realize it was close to the end of the round

    To be fair, in slow motion that was a scary overhand right hand and López did reel violently from it, but he was shaking it off and gearing up to fire when Mora stepped in. Premature, but upon review maybe not egregiously so given his point of view up close to López seeing how badly he took Valdez's punch in the moment..

    Um, that round was never completed. :dunno

    "Up at the stoppage" refers to whichever fighter has more points as of the last completed three-minute round. Do you...not realize that?

    I had a feeling a premature stoppage was coming when Mora was telling Lopez "show me something!" when literally was nothing was happening at that moment, like he was just looking to jump in. Sucks

    I obviously get that but telling the fighter "he was winning" is a little deceiving when had the stoppage not occurred and the fight finished the current round he was probably not gonna be winning anymore.
