    Wilder, Wlad, Lennox...

Shavers is up there. George, too.

    Marciano isn't in this discussion.

Well...You are cherry picking the fight where he came in the lightest, 212 & a 1/2, others he was up to nearly 230.
But for his height as a SHW, he was still lean.

I would have voted Sonny Liston but among the list George Foreman. He had Earth moving power.

I think Vitalis power is overated.

I think he could've been a destroyer, but he didn't throw his punches properly, so he wasn't.

He hit an old Briggs with countless flush shots and couldn't even floor him. Lewis showed much better against a young prime Briggs.

Would you rather have a gun put to your head or Shaver's fist?

If the only criteria is pure power than I would still go with Shavers but Wilder is very much in the discussion.

we really cannot say, its all speculation. Them guys hit you clean on the whiskers its goodnight irene. I mean, for shits and giggles, if i thought Foreman was a harder puncher than Tyson, that doesnt mean id rather take a punch of Tyson.

You see I don't think it's premature to say so.

I mean how can Shavers be called the hardest hitter, who did he knock out??

Shavers main claim is based upon the sheer weight of testimony of the men on the receiving end.
