The list of elite people Wilder has stopped starts and ends with an Old Ortiz.
Shavers stopped prime Young, Norton and Elis.

It's not splitting hairs, it's clearly Shavers.

This is my take. Wilder is easily top 5 on sheer power alone but we need to see how his career plays out against mote proven fighters. He's on the right track rematching fury and fighting the ruiz/Joshua winner.

In terms of clubbing power foreman, then Lewis

    Explosive power shavers then Tyson

    They are 2 different categories

Christ y'all want everyone on the list huh

There are like 4 people who need to be on here, with the clear winner being Shavers. EVERYBODY who fought Foreman and shavers said shavers hit harder. There are COUNTLESS comments calling him the hardest puncher they ever fought. At one point in his career, shavers had a record of 40-2 with 40kos. He had the might of God in his right, Mas Oyama would be proud.

If it was one or two people I would take it with a grain of salt, but it is everyone!

Not every single one, but enough that you start to think that there must be something in it!

Wilder's power gets massively overrated. He's just so Big and lanky ir makes it easier for him to catch his oppopnent flush. Baer_Louis_shavers and marciano has more power.

Wilder is such a freak that you can’t really apply conventional wisdom here. He’s 212lbs of solid muscle and just uses an insane amount of leverage stemming from his freakish proportions. I’m ready to say he’s the hardest puncher in HW history. It’s not just that he knocks them out, it’s the WAY he knocked them out. He can touch you anywhere with the right and you are going to be put down for a while. He can put your lights out anytime during the fight up to the final round with one right hand. I just don’t think we’ve seen anything quite like him in this division.

He hits really hard, but no reason to say he is #1.
Especially when considering the overall quality & ranking of his opponents.
Some have knocked out his opponents earlier.
He also uses illegal, largely rabbit punches, often enough to score KOs or soften guys up. That has more impact than legal blows.

Also, a few people are using his lightest weight-212 & 1/2-as his weight, when that is not what he normally is.
