The post prison Tyson was slower and more predictable than the 80s version.he still has good power and a solid chin but got hit more than before .Anyone wilder can hit is at risk .Would that version of mike be happy to be hit hard often by a fighter who wouldn't be intimidated by him ? Wilder is a nutter and wouldn't be bothered by Mike. Would be a great fight a real war

Tyson would shatter that suspect mandible into a million glass shards. If Nichols and Sconiers could put this fraud on the canvas, Tyson - even a post-prime version - would keep him there.

People land on Wilder early. Against Tyson that's a terrible thing to let happen and probably looks something a little like this.

I think Wilder would of def bought into the Tyson hype judging at how he looked at Joshua, a far less intimidating proposition.

Do you realise how difficult it would be for a guy like Wilder to have timed the perfect right hand to have landed on Mike?

Even though Mike was past his best in the 90's, he was short and fought in a crouched position with head movement. He had a bob and weave style with his arms up high. And he went at guys with speed and aggression, looking to get on the inside. A guy like that is a horrible stylistic match up for Wilder. It'd be a unique situation where his big size would actually leave him at a disadvantage.

The likelihood is, Wilder would never have had the opportunity to have landed the kind of shot that took out Breazeale etc.

How is he better at setting up his shots than Mike?

The versions of Mike who fought Ruddock, Bruno and Evander would have been too much for Wilder. Wilder would only have had a chance against a late 90's version.

The only versions of Mike he'd definitely have beaten, are the versions who fought Lennox, Williams and McBride. Mike only had about 3 rounds in him at that point and he was only fighting for financial reasons.

    Wilder isn't skilled.

How was he far more skilled?

Wilder has good power no lie that is known . thing is wilder needs distance patience and timing to land that shot with his right hand

Ortiz and fury. Created distance and didnt press the attack. Thus allowing wilder to gather what he needs for that right hand

    Patience . Timing and distance

Tyson would be coming at wilder with bombs and lighting speed combos . you either need to be a counter puncher or have a good strong jab to keep him at bay from coming in . doing this for 5 rounds at least until his stamina and power plumet as the fight goes on. Wilder dosent have the footwork, counter punching ,eluaive movement to avoid tyson danger rounds (beginning rounds) anything after that tyson declines now assuming wilder makes it through the storm . he has the chance to clip and finish off tyson in late rounds.. Wilder has the power to end tyson but tyson could end him first early

    Tyson ko 2-5

No Wilder sets up his punches better, Tyson missed punches by miles v Mathis, Wilder would have blown Mathis away with his eyes closed.

Tyson was too easy to hit during the 90`s.

Fury would have boxed Mike`s ears off during the 90`s, his combos were less and had slowed down.

Wilder has more power than Tyson had, his right hand is more powerful than the cross that Bowe knocked Holy out with.

Wilder would land more than Mike, Wilder`s timing is better than Mike`s was in the 90`s and Ruddock took Mike`s punches pretty well and said Tyson didn`t hit as hard as people were saying in an interview after their first bout
