He'll be in Saudi Arabia in saturday to challenge the winner , definitely he's next in line for a title shot in the spring .
You don't have a clue what you are talking about. After Wlad Pulev fought 3 times in Germany including against Chisora, 3 times in Bulgaria against Samuel Peter and Kevin Johnson, both non-euro, and against Hughie Fury in a final IBF eliminator bout in which Whyte, Miller and Breazeale refused to fight before Fury took the offer, and also his last 2 fights were in America.
Pfft. If you think Pulev is winning a title, you’re deluded. Quite a murderers row Pulev has went up against. He’ll be waving that left hand about, and get crushed again. The only chance Pulev has is to start taking the youth in a syringe treatments
He's obv waiting for his title shot. Can't blame him he's 38 why take a risky fight. Just sit and wait around for a big payday.
Waiting for one last big pay day and will then retire from the sport. Seems more interested in chasing tail and working for the Bulgarian mafia than he is in fighting these days.
It's not a terrible career. He's the sixth best heavyweight of the decade with a list of accomplishments equivalent to Wilder's even though he's never captured a piece of the title.
Whether we like him or not the guy is highly revered in his home nation they treat him like a king... like royalty ... national treasure... he probably spends his free time draping around eating grapes and greek yoghurt while Bulgarias finest women surround him and line up
Yeah Pulev's record is not amazing apart from fighting Klitschko. He had a match set against Joshua, but pulled out due to chest muscular injury I think, and Takam was the replacement. Pulev should have fought at least Povetkin, they're fighters of the same era. Now he's going to lose a title shot and finish his career against some third class fighters in Bulgaria I guess.
Just a few months ago Pulev destroyed Dinu, who many considered far more dangerous opponent than Walin. he's now patiently waiting for his title shot and paycheck, Why the hate?
He was never one for taking risks, and now with Top Rank we know the risk level is reduced to almost zero. Thompson, Chisora, Ustinov, Peter, Dimi and Huggie isn't that bad at all, but it seems like that now he's in mandatory position both he and Fury are primed to getting cashed out. If one was to win their titlefight we will get a double cashout after that.
