The WBC silver would be more in line with something like the WBA 'Gold' and does not even come close in recognition to the WBA regular although young Dillian carried it with pride and rightly so.
The most ridiculous title of WBA is WBA Gold. Not a world champion and not even ranked. It's just stuck somewhere in between.
WBA Recognition? All the WBA Recognition in the world exists in the head of Manuel Charr as he takes selfies and goes to bed with the belt wrapped around his waist. Maybe we can add you the the growing list of *two human beings* who show *recognition* for the WBA Regular. I think this is as much time as I want to spend talking about regular things with regular people. Adios.
I even rank the IBO over the WBA Regular, WBA interim, WBC silver and WBA gold... It's laughable all these insignificant belts.
To be fair professional boxing is a business and a profession and not a charity. There has to be some economy to make it worthwhile. I disagree. The IBO is often vacant and therefore can be bought outright (Eubank v Quinlan) whereas the regular is fought for by getting into a mandatory position. Clown.
Oh, absolutely. But in the WBA´s case, they are clearly selling out. And those minor trinkets are a way to buy ones ranking. Well, it´s pretty much the same with any ABC and minor trinkets. What would be nice, is to have rankings for those belts as well. Would make things a lot more interesting and fair.
I normally like the WBA regular. gets contenders fighting each other instead waiting for the shot for unified champ. But during Charr title reign it hasnt happened
