I've never known a fighter that gets beat up in sparring as much as AJ, he gets his arse kicked every training camp apparently.
We never seem to hear about Andy's sparring partners. Saw a recent interview where Manny Robles was asked for his thoughts on the variety of sparring partners AJ was using. He replied "They're not Andy".
This content is protected McCracken makes reference to 4 final rounds of sparring either today (Monday) or tomorrow.
Sounds that way too. it’s only the pure fantasists on this lunatic asylum board who believe it. This content is protected
It's every time he fights isn't it, I'm sure he got knocked out in sparring when he wasn't even sparring one time.
I sometimes believe that people on this forum do not want this fight to happen. They prayed that the he won't take the rematch and now they are paying that the fight won't happen even though they have been hating on the guy for the last four months.
Rumours/Excuses already? Getting knocked around in sparring? AJ is getting ready to have a panic attack. We’ll be reading about that after the fight, or on the forum when the fighters are making there ring walks, and our numerous experts/pundits chime in with detailed analysis.
It's everywhere today mate. World boxing news one of the outlets. Hopefully a storm in a teacup, or a promotional ploy.
Who are these people you speak of? I don't know one person who isn't excited about this fight. The sparring incident has been in loads of media outlets today. Don't shoot the messenger!!
Some close sources told me David Price sneaked into the bodybuilder 's locker room, and beat the hell out of him for not paying his gas safety check invoice.
Dunno about the injury, but he needs tough sparring, I think he has had too much his own way. He needs to be pushed back in sparring he needs to be put into deep waters so that he can get used to being under that pressure. So that he reacts in the correct way if/when it happens on fight night. Cant remember who it was talking about it but AJ doesnt really slip punches he blocks them and when you are tight and tense when being defensive it drains the energy from you. He needs to be relaxed and comfortable taking/defending shots so not to gass as easily. The only way he can do this is by going into the trenches regularly in sparring
