The Lions in the Camp are a bit quiet - what next for Anthony Yarde ?

Anthony found Tunde at a time when he most likely needed an older male influence in his life and he got that at least. But Tunde is deluded in his belief in that system which was proven to be tosh. It was only Yarde's heart that got him through those rounds, but Kov picked him apart all night, then survived the single onslaught and then put Yarde on his back. There is plenty to work on but Yarde has to realise that Tunde won't be able to progress him - not with a system which does not work and which Tunde still believes in. For all Yarde won't be able to walk away from Tunde easily, same applies to Tunde and his system.

Can honestly see them doing the same route again towards a big payday.

Do people really think they will risk it, fighting decent operators at British and Euro level?

Must of made a good chunk of money from the kovalev fight.

That's what i think. Reckon they'll try to get a fight with Ginger. As FW runs WBO that could be a possible defence for Ginger.

He ate a lot of jabs and the KO was brutal so he needs the time off. Should be back in Feb/March next year and then normal service will be resumed.

They will then wait for another "big offer" and cash out again and take an L. That is my guess.

    They will change tact now

Frank Warren fighter so we know the plan. Few fights he’ll win and then fight for the WBO when it becomes available.

His profile was raised no doubt
Maybe not to the level it could have been but to say it wasn't in any shape or form is just utterly wrong

I hope the goes high end euro fights now before going world level again

Alot of potential there but Tunde wont unlock it

I think he's got bags of talent and can be a world champion but he needs to feck tunde off and get a proper trainer before his career passes him by and he becomes another eubank jnr.

He’s planning to beat his own tap tap tap per round record on the pads as an ambassador of Padidas and leave his legacy in the record books as the fastest pad tapper ever!!!

He needs to change his training regime even if he stays with Tunde and work on stamina first to make sure he can do 12 rounds like the lion he says he is.

Kov fight hopefully woke him up to rethink his path so onwards and upwards maybe.

What's worrying is that after the Kov fight Tunde and Yarde seem to be acting as if they've made it now. That an ultimately TKO defeat to Kov is their coming out party.

The fame that comes after a cash grab has to be capitalised quickly otherwise people forget, especially when you lost.

I'm not sure that Yarde's profile was raised among the general public after the Kovalev fight but his stock with Boxing fans certainly went up. He answered one or two questions and we now know pretty much where he's at. He earned well that night so has bought some time to consider his next move.
There is a good fighter there somewhere and what he does next will be pivotal to his future. I can't see him ever being PPV material barring a fight with Alvarez.
