    He`d never land his jab, Wilder keeps fighters away better than Lewis did v Mercer, Wilder is a better puncher than Mercer was.

    If Wilder is so good at keeping fighters 'away', then why does he keep losing 90% of the rounds even against cherrypicked Boxrec #50 fighters?

    He doesn`t get hit as much as Lewis did by Mercer.

    If Lewis had Wilder's level opposition he could dominate into his 40s.
    Can you compare Vitaly, Holyfield, Golota, Grant, Morrison, Tyson, Bruno, Mercer to Shpilka, Dupuah, Washigton, Ortiz, Molina, Nicols and Brezeale. Lol
    Lewis wouldn't even use any of these people as sparring partners.

    So, after reading four pages of people bashing Wilder in this thread ... the haters can only insist Lewis, both Klitschkos and Holyfield are better than Wilder is at 34?

    Only four, all-time greats were better than Wilder is now at 34?

    As a fan of Wilder, that sounds good to me.

    At some point, the people insulting Wilder need to start reading their own posts.

    These Wilder-era threads need to be saved forever.

    Vitali was good and smacked Lewis al ove the place, Holy had less left than Ortiz has now, Morrison was awful v Lewis, Tyson was shot, Bruno was nowhere near Fury or Ortiz`s level and Mercer was easy to hit

    Even if all of this is true any of these guys would've beaten Wilder's opponents faster then Wilder.

    it's crazy isn't it? I have to doubt if any of these guys were watching back in the 90's. Mercer and Lewis had jabs ten times better than what Wilder employs.

    Fury got beat up by #46 Otto Wallin and Ortiz is only famous for getting KOed by Wilder.
    Both Rahman and McCall would finish him after he gasses in round 5 as usual.
