I remember when I used to post on the general. I sought refuge down here away from the freaks. Now this place is the biggest freak show of them all. There’s no middle ground, you’re either Hearn or Warren, Joshua or Fury. If you say something positive about Joshua the anti fury brigade will come on and try and shout you down immediately, even though it may not be a criticism or anything to do with Fury whatsoever. You get people posting lies about it Joshua’s camp, 3 pages worth but then god forbid you should quote someone from within that camp stating the opposite! You get told that he’s a novice and his words shouldn’t hold so much weight! What about the 3 pages of unsubstantiated bull****?! It’s pathetic and tedious. Then let’s go back to the drugs situation. The same people who defended Saunders and Fury are the protagonists in criticising Whyte. It’s just unbelievable the constant double standards. You can’t have a rational debate with 95% of those down here! Then on top of that there’s a new account or two every day of just trolling. Whether it’s pro or Anti Hearn/Warren It’s just pathetic. The board has gone to pot. Then posters like @CutThroatFade who is one of the few normal ones (even though we have differing views the majority of the time) has been banned and then replaced by more freaks and trolls. You’ve got posters who don’t even seem to like boxing, just post negative threads constantly. It’s depressing. You’ve got people who hate fighters just because they’re from Liverpool. They can’t look past that to see obvious things that Smith beat Williams, that’s a robbery apparently! I can’t believe I’ve lasted this long down here, this place makes upstairs look sane! I understand where you’re coming from, this place can be tedious with the fanboys and their alts but I think you’ve got the wrong end of the stick a bit here dude. I’m pro British boxing, not pro/anti AJ/Hearn/Fury/Warren at all. I don’t think that post was about saying the novice boxer was wrong and AJ doesn’t hit hard. Of course he does.
From when I started I believe it's a bit better Scissors. Maybe not in the way you describe, but there is a sense that members can say things without being attacked and ridiculed.

A bit over the top from scissors there. Feeling the pressure fight week it seems. Every boxing media outlet out there reported the AJ sparring story, including the tabloids. Obviously, on fight week, it's worth a thread and a discussion. No need to get upset about it. He's right about a lot of things though. Place is gone to the dogs with alts snd trolling accounts etc. However, he's barking up the wrong tree with Jurgs. Jurgs keeps morale high in here with humour and realism and nobody is safe. So Jennings, Moten and Tabiti have all rubbished the rumours and said how good AJ has looked at sparring. Reports thatAJ dropped and hurt Elvis Garcia etc. We have heard that AJ has been criticised in previous camps for doing too much "technical sparring" instead more intense sparring. Brought in guys like Chisora and Jennings who have videos on youtube in intense sparring sessions together. It could only benefit AJ to replicate the same pressure we know that Ruiz is going to bring again. My criticism is some of his sparring partners such Spong, Okolie and Little will do little to replicate Ruiz's style.
Enjoys his boxing, obviously a bit more Matchroom orientated than me but it is sad someone gets depressed on a boxing forum then has a meltdown. I knew there was an issue when he recently backed Spud O'Connor's integrity but he is entitled to his opinion as we all are on Tony Dosh PPV etc. No need to fall out or be hurt by a string of letters appearing on posts. Scissors needs to sharpen his blades and come back stronger on here. Good poster along with many others I don't always agree with. Hope he is back soon.
