Why can boxers score one-punch knockouts while MMA fighters can’t seem to as much?

Dan Henderson is easily the biggest puncher I have ever seen compete in MMA. He had insane power.

 

Sure. Especially across the board. But theres not really a lack of one punch knockouts like youre trying to suggest.

 

Plenty of power wrestlers like Hendo in MMA who have power despite questionable technique. Mark needs to watch the sport more. Hendo, Bader, Evans, Rumble, Cormier, Miocic, Jackson etc. Would like a word with him.

 

Exactly this. Some of the wrestler types hit incredibly hard, probably due to their massive upper body strength. In fact, I would personally say that Fedor's decline was BECAUSE he hit so hard. He became punch-happy and forgot to focus on the great wrestling skills that made him so fearsome in the first place. The reason he dominated guys like Herring was not because he hit so hard, but because he controlled them so well.

 

Upper body strength doesn`t aid punching power, technique, stance and hand speed do, according to your logic body buildders and WWE wrestlers can punch hard, which is bull.

 

According to my logic, some of them can, and I just demonstrated it. Get some glasses.
