Except if we are talking about the HW division where its random (preferential) selection by the governing bodies and rankings or money have no effect on your ability to get an eliminator let alone a mandatory
Maybe in a very convoluted economical cloak and dagger way as Whyte offered 9 million to fight Wilder so whats the problem with having Whyte as WBC champ why would Whute generate less money than Wilder for the WBC crook council?
A champion doesn’t pick a mandatory. A sanctioned fight means that the governing body recognizes the fight. A champion can select the opponent.
Whyte was manadated after beating Rivas ( hence the loss of his other rankings) but shortly after passing all of WBCs VADA testing the WBC saw the UKAD invetigation as another opportunity to protect Wiilder from Whyte and gave the mandatory to Fury ( who didnt even want the mandatory as he already had a signed contract to fight Wilder). I fully expect Wilders next two opponents to be Fury then Kownacki.
Precisely my point Wilder hand picked the easier guy in the division.. but ill give him a pass on the first time But second time hand picking Ortiz? How the **** are you side stepping Whyte? He offers 9 million Ortiz offered nada
When you’re tested by two dopping agencies, you’re supposed to pass both of the agencies tests. Why is this so hard to understand? Putting Whyte’s position on hold while he has an ongoing PED investigation is definetly the right move. Now, if UKAD come out and state that they made a mistake, that there was nothing wrong with Whyte’s test results and WBC still keep him out, then you’d have a point. But right now, your post is complete garbage.
Whyte isn’t more highly regarded than Ortiz in the US. If Whyte jumped ship and joined PBC, he would’ve already been starched by Wilder. Not rocket science.
PBC would have made more money with Whyte fighting Wilder and collaborating with matchroom than any if Wilders fights to date not rocket science and thats ‘contender’ Whyte Not even AJ
They haven't placed his his mandatory on hold , they have effectively given it to fighter who doesn't want it as he already has a contract signed to fight Wilder.
Passed all the VADA test but he was also tested by UKAD. Just because WBC work with VADA doesn’t mean they should ignore the test results of other dopping agencies, because they most certainly shouldn’t. And the ONLY reason BBCofC allowed him to fight was because of their idiotic protocole: That the fighter is innocent until the B sample is opened. So Whyte could’ve been roided to his eyeballs and BBCofC would’ve still cleared him to fight until the B sample is opened. And they have indeed placed Whyte’s situation on hold, as he’s still the #1 on their rankings. And It happens a lot in title bouts, when there’s a controversial result, the sanctioning organization mandates a rematch. Coupled with Whyte’s ongoing investigation, It was perfectly reasonable to replace him with Fury until his situation is resolved.
Err WBC swears by VADA VADA is there affiliated anti doping program... the WBC clean program VADA are endorsed by WBC WBC take VADA as gospel not UKAD UKAD is not part of the WBC clean boxing program It doesnt say anywhere that they need to listen to UKAD results, they get their results from VADA
Huh? So let’s say, since all the British fighters are subjected to UKAD testing, they reach an agreement for VADA to do the urine testing and for UKAD to do the blood testing. Say the fighter passes all the urine tests, but an anabolic steroid is found in his blood. WBC are just supposed to say “we don’t care about the anabolic steroid in his blood, our agency didn’t conduct it.”? Do you have any idea how moronic this sounds?
