No suprises here although I could have seen a scenario where Sergio or Froch got in over Shane based on the whole BALCO ordeal..

Damn, all 3 already getting in after first year of eligibility. They deserved it though. Great legendary fighters, no matter what you think of them.

How can a proven & eventually self confessed Peds abuser like Mosely get into the HOF ??

 

Wish i had the answer for you.. Marquez has his own cloud of suspicion working with Memo Heredia for the PAC 4 fight.. Like Barry Bonds he never failed a drug test but he dealt with the same group of people who helped Bonds pass them.. Like i said i thought Shane would at least be punished for a year or two but its looking like the voters are going to overlook those things..

I used to attend with a group under boxingbb but they went under, but I keep up with a couple who do some great photography work each year.

I didn't know Hopkins had passed the time limit to be considered, this is awesome! This time I WILL get my pic with Hagler. I got Whitaker RIP & plan on getting it on a tshirt to wear there.

 

Thought you had to weight five years. How long is it now?

 

This was what I thought. Much as B-Hop is a first balloter, his last fight was only 3 years ago. What am I missing?

 

Beginning with the voting this year, you only have to be retired for 3 years to be eligible.

 

I don't like the new "3 years retired" nonsense. At all.

But, whatever it is what it is. Hopkins, Marquez, Mosley... quite a class.

 

Very sad that a urine drinker like JMM gets into the HOF. Otherwise, three ATG's.
