i super excited about this fight now...such a 50/50 fight with so many intangibles and the buildup has been fantastic. Also a back to back rematch which is rare these days. I cannot think of any other fight in the last 5 to 10 years that I have been looking forward to so much or been so excited to know what the outcome will be. I am not saying it’s the biggest fight (not by a long stretch) but certainly the most intriguing for me. Looking forward to this way more than Wilder Fury 2 (although that is a great fight also).
Seriously? It's the biggest fight thus far for this year, but your most enticipated for last 5 to 10 years?!
I hear ya. It's been awhile since a favorite lost badly. We don't know if AJ had an off night, impacted by equilibrium shots or just quit. In that sense I am intrigued as well. Five years or so ago , I couldn't say man...sure glad Pac vs PBF got made...wonder whose gonna win! PPffft...I didn't care for the most widely promoted farcical affair. Loma's fights had me intrigued, waiting anticipating-can a guy with so few wins get a title, & keep it. But there hasn't been a fight I can think of in the past 5 or so years where I couldn't come to a conclusion on who wins or loses. This fight has me stumped since I am neither pro or anti Ruiz/AJ. No dog in the race, but really excited to see the outcome!
Really intriguing match given Joshua's status and what happened in the first match. No one actually knows what will happen. Will Joshua freeze, will he prove that MSG was just a blip? Who knows? A night expert boxing fans and causals can all be very interested in for differing reasons Amazing stuff, ill enjoy it no matter what the outcome
It's a really interesting fight and one of the few fights where I will be happy if either wins. Don't get many like that !
surly the first canelo vs GGG fight was more anticipated than this i'd be close to say i was looking forward to wilder vs fury just as much as well in saying that im really looking forward to saturday and has the potential to be a great fight
Fights like this are great for boxing because they are even intriguing for the casual and non fans of the sport.
Good luck unifying anytime soon. Usyk is the WBO mandatory with Matchroom. Pulev is the IBF mandatory with Top Rank. PBC doesn’t recognize the WBO. Ruiz is the least likely to unify all 4 belts. Its up to the heavyweight saviour Usyk to do it.
Theres been so many good heavyweight fights in the last couple of years: Joshua vs Klitschko Wilder vs Ortiz I Wilder vs Fury Joshua vs Ruiz I The division hasn't been this exciting in a long time.
brrr you kno, it was a good scrap but an embarrassment for AJ to flake to the stand in of a stand in soft touch. This is becoming way bigger than it has any right to be now, surely you'd want a low key rematch to save on embarrassment and unnecessary pressure. But its everywhere now, even on the BBC. It makes HW boxing look like the joke its become.
Usyk will not unify all 4 or he will not unify even 2 belts? Usyk will get his hands on the WBO belt next year, that much I can promise you. First he will beat Chisora and then either fight Joshua or someone else for the WBO belt(Andy Ruiz would likely vacate the WBO belt because of PBC).
