I don’t wanna play the tough guy but I’ve had a perforated ear drum twice (just from being sick), it’s horrible but I’m kinda surprised tough as nails boxers would react that badly to it?

Pain tolerance will always differ for everybody, along with severity

Light vs Billam-Smith would be brilliant though.

Broadhurst is a blown up light heavyweight hence the size difference. Light's just your normal size CW in all honesty.

Yup or even Jai Opetaia getting a shot against Billam-Smith would be a good fight.

Well yeah, he’s probably going to outsize domestic opponents and then seem medium sized against elites....like how Joe Parker started his career as a tall, rangy HW lol

Why are the Brits ignoring all of these quality Commonwealth fighters for the cruiserweight belt? Hell none of the South Africans get a shout too.

It was waved off because Broadhurst’s ear drum was ruptured by a hook in the second round and anything that shot landed again, Broadhurst was reduced to taking a knee. By the second KD of the third round, the ref waved off the fight. So there wasn’t much of a highlight reel KO or even an accumulation KO really

Hope Lussick blows Hodges away...but tbh, Hodges looked ungainly as a league player yet was a deceptively great athlete, same might apply to his boxing. Lussick looks bigger and in better shape but is a plodder by comparison athletically.
