Dang! You are right. Ward was the super champ but he vacated. Bivol was the WBA interim champ meaning Bivol won his "wold championship" off of Broadhurst Or he was just handed the belt. Laughable either way.
I liked Hodges' performance in Origin 3 2009 running his mouth behind his team mates and then chasing Ben Creagh around.
Good end to the year for Tszyu albeit against an overmatched opponent. Hope to see him kick on beyond domestic level next year.
I felt bad about Creagh for that. Haunted him, but he was a tough footy player and fighting is irrelevant to that If only he knew he probably would’ve punched holes in Hodges anyway lol
Damn..... Tszyu musta been impressive.... Only reason to stay in this country now for Horn v Zeraffa winner... (Or bring ranked guys out) He’s done very well last 3 fights has young Tim, be nice to see them keep moving him fwd...
do you remember back in 2003 when Creagh was a young winger. Game vs the Warriors at WIN, he went to play the ball but wasn’t actually held, Francis Meli absolutely smoked him while he was playing the ball, then Creagh got penalised to boot. Hilarious.
Tszyu at 5’8” and change seems a bit small for the current 154 guys? Can surely cut to be a big welter?
Yes I do haha, a golden year for Francis Meli. I also remember Jerry Seuseu hurting someone (can't remember who) in the same game, the guy stayed down genuinely hurt and then copped an absolute mouthful haha.
He’s bigger than 5’8, I went to his pro debut a few years back, I’m 5’9 and he was around my height maybe a bit taller.
He's improving that's for sure. I doubt he'll fight Zerafa/Horn next. Don't think he's ready for that sort of test yet.
Listed 174cm. Since I have literally never heard of an underlisted boxer, I think it’s more likely you’re lying about your height like 99.9% of men on earth
