I think him wearing a shirt in the weigh in may be a sign of shame. Ruiz really enjoyed thanksgiving.

Yep, you can clearly see how gaunt and dehydrated Ruiz was on the scales.
Soon after the weight in, Ruiz was seen gulping down a few pitchers of Tecate so he could build up his electrolyte levels.

You need explosiveness and good reflexes to go after your opponent for a quick KO. Ruiz is just being a lazy fat slob.

He won't be able to even walk into the ring. They will bring him in in a wheelchair.

Could be a hoax. But if it isn't. The blobs gonna have a heart attack chasing after that puny drained bodybuilder. Was hoping Ruiz would be around his optimum weight of mid 260s. Joshua regaining his title because Ruiz gasses out in 6 rounds would be disappointing.

Michael Montero was saying the other day that numerous trainers and S&C coaches who've worked with Fat Andy in the past have told him that he's lazy in camp and that he wouldn't even show up all the time.

Yeah 14lbs sounds a lot to the average person, or a fighter in a lower weight class but when you’re already 268lbs, moving to 282 really isn’t going to make any difference.

It’s a 5% change in weight & people are acting like Ruiz is suddenly going to be gassed after round 2. It’s the equivalent of a 140lb fighter moving to 147. It’s not going to effect his performance either way.

regardless of how that 14lbs will effect his performance though, it’s ridiculous that he can’t get down to 230ish, because that would actually have a positive impact.

But he'll fight AJ like AJ is trying to steal food from him! Make him fight hard! Money equals Food for Ruiz and AJ wants all the money for his manager and babies momma's!

Perhaps he put some burritos under his hat and in his pockets to play mind games with AJ.

If AJ thinks he is fat and there for the taking there is more chance of him loading up looking for the KO. This is exactly what Ruiz wants him to do.

I agree. I dont think its a big difference. He looks light on his feet - I doubt the extra weight it will make any difference. One thing about putting on weight is that if you put it on at a slow pace and keep training then it should have no effect on ones conditioning. I believe Ruiz will punch even harder only question mark is on AJ side not Ruiz. I expect the same fighter in Ruiz. It's AJ that has to make the radical adjustments but physically and mentally.
