The win and fame that came with it got to his head

He has not even trained while joshua has been taking this very seriously looking to get his belts back

It wont suprise me if Joshua knocks him out early this big fat slob is a joke

what about his real fans how do you think they will feel if Andy has indeed sold out for the money?

its either that or just couldnt get himself up for the fight again because he reached the skies before.............

How will his combos be carry that extra stone? they will be slower

I hope im wrong o i hope im wrong...........

Guess we'll see. He looked good at the open workouts though.

Jarrell Miller and COWnacki both regularly fight around 260 to 300 pound range, some guys carry their fat really well.

It should be pretty ****ing obvious, Ruiz is one of THOSE kind of guys.

It doesn't matter, he still threw punches in bunches all the way into the 12th round. No amount of steroids can keep someone who gasses, from gassing. Some people just have great stamina, with or without roids. Miller is one of them. Like with Sasha, sure he was noticeably gassed a lot quicker, but his output still remained fairly consistent even after getting popped. He just didn't look as chipper while letting his hands go.

Fortunately for Ruiz the pace of this fight will probably resemble a wheel chair basketball game, since Joshua uses fuel like an Abrams M1 tank they'll agree to a slow dance waiting for someone to land a big shot. For the love of money, Joshua should be able to use footwork on this tub to get good angles to fire his right hand and left hook.

Your massively underestimating the effect steroids can have here.

certainly some people will naturally have better stamina than others, but steroids can amplify this effect massively.

Are you not making the exact same assumption most people made for the first fight?
I am also a bit surprised at his weight, but Ruiz has proved already he's naturally a very good fighter, plenty of experience and carries his weight well. He's fought at a stone heavier than this before.
I'm still giving Joshua the edge for a late rounds TKO, he looks focussed and his weight seems spot on to me... but I'm definitely not ruling Ruiz out.

I don't see the sold out angle. He is in a position to make much more money if he wins or even does well than if he loses badly.

He still pretty young and can look forward to more big money fights if he wins.

I would not call it selling out. I expect he will come to fight.

The most logical explanation is the guy is undisciplined with his eating or just doesn't think it matters.

Well he had 3 months to prepare for the rematch one wouold think he wouild of came at least few pounds lighter at least or even the same but a stone heavier? this is not a good thing no matter how you look at it

This reminds me of duran beating lenny in the first fight then lenny waited for him to eat beefcakes then randomly told him to make the rematch quickly duran had to shed monster weight this for me is why he gave up in the rematch

Ruiz is getting paid really well he is happy no matter what i never expected this from a proud mexican very disappointed in him

also im not ruling ruiz out but im having doubts now ruiz is a tough guy

Sure. I get that. But if he wins maybe he makes 30 million in his next fight.

Hes not at the end of his career and looking for one last payday.

I think the dude just likes to eat.

To address the actual thread title from this propagandistic alarmist.

It's actually the opposite. He's proven once again, that he truly does not give a ****. That's the antithesis of selling out.
