If you want to read a really good preview, check out the My 2 Cents on Boxing site. Bloke who writes it is a trainer and writes really well.

Joshua will box clever and not go for the kill if he hurts him which was his downfall last time. He has to use his height and reach advantages better and I think being light will help that. Ruiz being heavier will make it harder for him to get in against a conservative Joshua. Joshua won’t wanna get caught mid range against him again. As soon as Ruiz shortens the distance he’ll grab him.

I can’t help but think what’s Ruiz playing at coming in at that weight? I’ve heard rumours he had weights in his kecks. I don’t care what anyone says that weight at 6 foot 2 is benefitting nobody.

Joshua by ko second half of the fight.

I genuinely believe ruiz is a terrible match up for aj. I saw warning signs in the takam fight. Short, compact, punches with aj.

I've had 250 on ruiz inside the distance.

Joshua can win, make no bones about it. But I really belive ruiz is a nightmare for him

Just got with your gut instinct. Don't let anyone or any gossip sway your gut instinct. You'll regret it. Believe me.

Go for it. Can't ignore them odds for somebody who outclassed his opponent in the previous fight. What has changed since? I know it's heavyweight and anything can happen but it's not like ruiz landed a hail Mary when well behind. He had his number, and its not far fetched to assume he'll have his number again. Not at 15/8.

I'm no expert. Good luck to Joshua and if he wins its a MASSIVE achievement imo.

    Can't wait

I could not make my mind up but the weights have made me lean towards AJ.

Each to their own mate. It's anyone's tbh but I'm going with the guy who won convincingly in the last bout. Plus theres not much value in aj unless you're laying megabucks down.

The value is in the odds mate not what you stake - rule one in betting

Exactly. The odds for Joshua do not justify what he showed in the first dance.

What's your prediction mate? Have you had a flutter?

Sorry if I missed it I do not read the full forum.

I honestly have no idea mate - gut feeling is that Joshua should flatten him but the last fight showed Joshua is a fringe pudding himself.

I will make my money on the undercard and lay Ruiz on points at the Betfair Exchange on the assumption Eh Day has lined the pockets well.

Wouldn't be surprised at all by that outcome but as I said no value putting 250 on aj. I was gonna double up with povetkin or hunter but couldn't decide so left it.

Should be a great occasion all the bull**** aside.

Aside from the fact I genuinely believe ruiz will end him again.
