Funny! Yet thought provoking. How does a KO puncher in Pac fail in all those landed shots..to stop JMM?
But this thread is talking about fighters who would have been able to BEAT JMM via stoppage. In no way, shape or form do I see Naz beating JMM, let alone knock him out.
I do. JMM got dropped by volume punchers down there. He didn't have a chin like McCulloch, so I see JMM getting hit and staying hit.
Manny fought much much better competition. Look at how Manny took apart elite level fighters, he had them running whilst stopping or dropping them. The only elite that Hamed fought laughed his power off and took him to school. Pacquiao would be 37-0 w like 35 KOs at his best against Hamed's opposition.
And Hamed was done by then. If you followed the sport then you'd know that by 2001 Hamed was way past prime. Mid 90's was when he was at his best. '95-'97.
1. He wasn't done by then, he wasn't peak but "done" is a massive overstatement and quite frankly making excuses. 2. I have followed Hamed's career, in particular, this very fight. To say Hamed was done is making excuses for a great win. The only excuse for Hamed that night was that he had a **** camp, which is his own fault. 3. There's literally 4 years difference between 97-01, in those 4 years he went on a string of dominant wins. 4. Nice try on changing the subject pal, Pacquiao slaughters Hamed's competition. He hits harder. Is better. In fact outside of defence, he does everything better. 5. What's your actual point? A prime Hamed beats Barrera? Nahhhh.
