Over the long-term, this will make AJ a better fighter. He learned the hard way

    a) you can learn and adjust your style
    b) dont underestimate a fat guy

Ray Leonard ran against Hagler and in the 2nd Duran fight. But for the most part he took your damn head off. Just ripped it off your neck.

    well done Aj

as I predicted Ruiz came in massively overweight and gave himself no chance.

Fury wouldn't have run like it was track and field. What Fury does and that nonsense from Joshua are nothing alike.

Fury would do the exact same thing to Ruiz and Wilder would knock him out.

Unless its there on a platter probably not. Anthony Klitschko looks to be a force to be reckoned with though.

Mate if you want a brawl go down your local bar. This is boxing. You purport to be a fan yet you clearly know very little of the science of hitting and not being hit.

I don't see AJ beating Wilder or Fury.

He'll be gun shy vs Wilder, who'll eventually land one of those nuclear bombs.

Fury will out box him and maul him on the inside.

Ruiz really was to fat to cut off the ring he was just following AJ around but full credit to AJ he boxed superbly making it very difficult for Ruiz.

Well a poor man's Klitschko performance. Wlad would always apply way more pressure while being defensively sound. At times Joshua just ran without doing anything. Ruiz dug his own grave there, but even a fit Ruiz would have likely lost.

Top work from Joshua, fought the perfect fight, borderline shut out.

finally the Ruiz bandwagon has ground to a standstill.

levels above on the night Joshua was there.

HHahaha. Shameful from Ruiz calling aj to the centre of the ring in the 12th round cos he weighed in at 20 stone and couldn’t get near him. Embarrassing

btw Parker v Ruiz wasn’t a robbery and this fight shows you why

Obviously Parker wasn’t this dominant, but Ruiz lost a lot of rounds following Parker around doing nothing

Good safety first performance from Joshua. Credit to him though, he stuck to his plan and did what he had to do.

No need to see a third match.
