His weight played an important role in this fight. He could have move faster to close the distance. Coming to the fight of his life with so heavy is disgraceful.
most HW don't or can't move like AJ did tonight. i'm actually surprised by how nimble he was. granted, it sure helped his cause that Ruiz couldn't adapt to save his life, but still, Ruiz would fare far better against anyone not named fury, usyk or AJ. he got schooled tonight but his win (or near win) against parker shouldn't be taken lightly. it can also be said ajs length was troublesome but most HW's aren't that big. still many fights he can be competitive in imo.
The reason was that he probably didn't train enough and put some more fat on in last six months. Just pathetic to say "Yeah, of course the additional weight played a major role..." OKAY, Buddy, why you got THAT fat? Are you ****ing ******ed or what?
285 pounds on the top level is a no go, period, he looked far worse than in the first encounter, he was stuck in cement the entire fight and due to the weight was not able to close the distance or make AJ fight three minutes a round, he just followed him around like a puppy......almost a replay of fat Tua vs Lemmie.. He barely trained, got hog fat, did not give a F and the result is that he lost. AJ looked very beatable, he is scared to engage despite not being pressed at all, naturally it looks like you are on control when there is nothing coming at you.........btw , he is still open as hell for a straight right. IMO, he will not let his hands go against Fury and he might be up a few rounds vs Wilder until the boom lands and Wilder WILL land but that fight will not happen, Hearns/AJ will be fighting hand picked no hopers for quite some time now.......Pudding Whyte will be next......there is no way in hell the Bodybuilder is taking ANY dangerous fights anytime soon.
