If I were Joshua and I could avoid Ruiz, I would. Ruiz is a real danger to AJ.

Ruiz doesn’t deserve a rematch after getting schooled for 11 rounds and admitting he wasn’t in shape.

He’s just a lucky guy that he caught Joshua with a good punch in a fight were Joshua just didn’t look right.

Joshua shed all that muscle and did what he needed to do to win. He looked much better, fluid and sharp when he's always looked a bit robotic.

Ruiz did the opposite. Didn't train and gained 15lb. It's his fault he didn't train and then got completely outclassed to a level he doesn't deserve the rematch.

I don't think we'll see Ruiz in the ring again after than money hits his account anyway. He'll continue to balloon up until he's broke.

Why? He just made the fat blob (and many posters here) look stupid...

Ruiz probs will take his money and run, if he couldn't get up for this he isn't ever going to get up for anything..

    There's no need.

The rematch wasn't close, there was no action, and the public won't want it.

As stated above, no and there is no reason in the world to give Ruiz a rematch. He looked like an amateur fighting a world class fighter. A third fight would play out just like the second fight. It takes guts to come back and win after a brutal ko, props to Joshua.

AJ lost like an amateur the first time and Ruiz lost like an amateur the second time. Only fair that a third fight takes place to settle the whole thing once and for all. AJ promised a trilogy before the second fight, if AJ is the warrior that he is, he will give the rematch

ruiz is in a very very bad position now.

AJ has the mandatories and fights 2x per year. And there are other more suitable opponents for huge paydays in Wilder and Fury. and let alone planning on those rematch clauses.

So now he is in a position Joeseph Parker was put in a few years ago===and he still has not dug himself out; Ruiz needs to get in the ring again quick. And win impressively. And for chump change.

2.5 years minimum with zero hiccups.

There aren't any doubts left.. Ruiz got schooled badly and doesn't deserve a rematch.

Ruiz got beat comprehensively, If he wants a 3rd fight he should earn it and become a Mando for a belt and get some self respect back while doing it.....

Got bashed up in the first fight then completely outboxed him in the second, I suppose there’s a selling point somewhere in between. If there’s millions to be made for both fighters it’ll happen, regardless wether it’s needed or wanted by the fans.
