Fight week. This should be a fantastic fight on a great weekend of boxing. I’ve edited the thread to include a poll.
Korobov is at least twice the boxer Eubank is and it'll show. That said, Korobov is an 8 round fighter and that'll show too. Jr probably stops a gassing Korobov late and will be losing widely but probably still ahead on the cards seeing as PBC judges love screwing Matvey over.
Eubank is a machine, physically. He will make the weight no problem. Lives the life, always fit, stays around the SW weight mark naturally. So shedding 8-10 pounds during camp is no sweat. He is perfect for middleweight, a bit too small for SW and lacks power going up. This will be a comfortable win for him.
Really looking forward to the Eubank fight could be a great fight! I got a feeling Eubank is going to look great is there any uk coverage ?
He used to have to get naked and take his gimp gloves off all the time when when weighing in. That was years ago . He’s an inbewtweener.
Well, what a huge disappointment. Stayed up to watch that and Korobov has to retire in the 2nd round after winning the 1st round with successive big left hands. Such a shame for both fighters.
What a shyte weekend of boxthing mate - could not believe this happened after the Anthony Fury-Klitschko stinker in Saudi. All that hype followed by a pile of tripe.
I fell asleep and missed the Eubank-korobov fight, sounds like I didn't miss much though. It's a pity when fights end that way. I woke back up just in time for Charlo-Hogan. Hogan gave it a go but came up second best against somebody bigger and better.
