Okay, but guess what, slob, you are the not the "A-side" anymore. This means that, instead of you acting like you ever had a say but actually having none and doing what you were told, this time you will really have to show us "Humble Andy" (or is that "Simple Andy"?) and take what you are given. You know what that means? I reckon April-May, and you know where, Andy, don't you? That's right...London, Wembley stadium, 85,000 people...it'll be epic. Don't cry about it though, Andy, you'll get your shot again...but you'll go where you are told...lol
I want to see AJ fight the WBO No.1 contender Uysk first, he would do far better than Ruiz did last night, Ruiz can fight the winner.
Ruiz should settle for 3-triple Decker tacos and call it a day. @mark ant Wow they are putting it on AJ to fight Usyk already? Didn't know his win over Chazz Witherspoon put him as the top contender. Usyk is pretty good on his feet. Not sure he can handle that power, but would enjoy watching.
I hope so, I hope he comes in even fatter next time, and shows up 380lbs with his snickers trainer Dustin Nichols! lol
After last night's performance, I am not sure there's much demand for a third match atm. Plus, AJ has Pulev and Usyk as mandatories for IBF and WBO. I think Ruiz has to go back to training seriously and win some high profile fights in an exciting manner, before he gets another shot. What most boxing fans want now is Fury vs Wilder 2 and an unification with AJ. Simples...
Nah. When you come in such appalling shape as Ryiz and admit you didnt have the heart to even train properly to defend your first world title defense in what would be the biggest fight of your career.... doesn't deserve a rematch right now imo. Bring on Usyk. AJ vs Usyk is one of the best fights in boxing.
Blimey, so another potential dangerous fight for AJ. Usyk is a decent oppenent for Joshua, maybe the hardest one since Ruiz 1. Hoping it goes forward.
At over 280 pounds in the biggest fight of his career with 15 -20 million in the bank, Andy Ruiz is now officially retired and about to release his own taco grill and Candy Andy snickers deep fryer.
He's the type of guy that is ripe to disappear for 10 years and come back at 42 because "the hunger is back".
No interest in a rematch from me. Ruiz needs to go back to the drawing board and come again. Plus, from Joshua's side, he's clearly sh!t scared of Ruiz so he won't be going anywhere near him again soon.
And what qualifies a fat 285lbs Ruiz to fight the winner of AJ vs. Usyk? The world wants to see AJ/Usyk vs. Wilder/Fury. Ruiz thanks to his lack of ambition and discipline is no longer in the picture.
