Was the Charlo fight decent at least?

Didn’t stay awake for it, mate. I was absolutely gutted about the Junior fight and just turned over and went sleep.

Hopefully Jnr fights someone younger now, getting a bit tiresome seeing him in with shot fighters

Sadly true. Hogan was over matched and undersized and was never in the fight. Charlo is good, but this wasn't a competitive match. On a positive note it puts Hogan's recent fight with munguia in perspective. Hogan beat munguia and got robbed on the cards. Another Irishman Spike o Sullivan fights munguia next, and unlike Hogan spike can punch.

I’ll be honest and say that I don’t know much about Korobov, but when the fight was announced there were a lot of people saying that it was a terrible matchup for Jnr and that he would lose.
It just proves that fighters can never win with everyone.

Hard to blame Eubank for his opponent getting injured. No excuse for Eubank not to fight again fairly soon, not the typical 6-8 month lay off

Jr was totally out if it in the one completed round. Unless he changed something majorly in his approach to the fight he was on his way to losing by shutout. Seriously. Incredible athlete and all that...but a poor boxer.

It was a bad match up for Jnr and it was looking that way up until the injury. That's the issue though, he was 36, since Yildrim, which was a great win, Jnr has only fought guys at the end of their careers, past their prime. He has to step out up now, I want to see him in with Charlo.

Judging by that first round, Jr was in for a very long night. Korobov is only good for 8-9 rounds though so he had a chance late on. I feel really bad for him, he's had rotten luck as a pro. Caught by a Lee bomb, unlucky on the cards against Charlo, robbed of a win against Aleem and now this in a very winnable showcase fight.

Still, it is what it is. Jr-Charlo will be a lot of fun
