Haha just like many wiseguys on this forum. And when they are proved decisively wrong they still have something to say not realising how ridiculous they sound.
No Deontay, people with a high enough IQ can appreciate a good performance that doesn’t involve a body spread like “it’s having birth”. Then again, I expect somebody who doesn’t have a hope in hell of actually outboxing an opponent to say something like this.
I think this forum has a bit of a contrarian syndrome where people think they have to diametrically oppose their opinions to the casual consensus. But sometimes the casuals are right lol
The point here is that Wilder CAN NOT BOX! He has almost zero technical ability, he simply does not have the option of doing what Joshua did because he can’t! That’s why we constantly see him getting outboxed by the journeymen his resume is full of.
We will never know who will win between these two because sure as hell, Joshua’s team will never put him within a 1,000 miles of this guy. Wilder has a massive wingspan and Joshua won’t be able to stay out of range of his bomb...and you KNOW Joshua will be gone if Wilder connects.
When we look back at great heavyweights that lost their titles in upsets, how many of them just got on their bicycle and did whatever they needed to simply to win and how many came back with bad intentions and either settled the guy who beat them or fought them without fear. I can’t think of anyone else except Joshua who has won with no desire to destroy the opponent that upset them (whether they were successful or not...ie Tyson vs Holyfield 2). AJ is a great guy and I think he genuinely is the person he is made out to be BUT honestly, what is incorrect about what Wilder is saying?
What exactly makes you think Joshua's performance was great last night ? fleeing from a tub of lard for 12 rounds? I've seen heavy bags swinging around in the gym that were harder to avoid than that fatso. Joshua looked scared to death, and if he's that afraid of that Jenny Craig poster child he'll faint with Wilder. My guess is they'll pray Wilder loses to Fury so he doesn't have to face it. Joshua vs Fury,,,,what a prom dance that'd be.
