Couldn't agree more Bob...what a pathetically poor excuse of a heavyweight "title fight"...
makes me think more of Wilder...I think he'll cave in that overblown poser AJ...yet,..I believe that Fury will outsmart and defeat Wilder.

I was very, very disappointed in Snickerboy Ruiz....how can you show less respect for your job as Heavyweight Champion of the world? And this is the guy that Joshua had box so carefully against.

I have not forgotten the first Ruiz fight, so I am picking Baer for now.

Joshua by decision or ko within 10 or later. All Baer's chin would do is keep him from getting blasted out early. Joshua had gotten up from big right hands from klitschko and ruiz had to drop him several times to get the stoppage. Bear's sloppyness means even if he gets a knockdown Joshua will be able to tie up and lean on him with his enormous frame and long arms. A lumbering carnera somehow lasted 11 rounds despite max having him badly hurt and on the floor several times. So forgive me if I think Joshua is competent enough to survive.

If this were an overly anxious Joshua looking for a ko early, he'd likely burn through his gas tank and become a sitting duck for Baer and get stopped. A smart in shape Joshua wins 8/10.

Baer could win this, it's certainly possible, but I think Joshua is much more likely to win. Much more consistent operator.

Had it not been for the first fight, I think Joshua would have stopped him. But Joshua was sensible. He'd trained to win that way, stuck to the gameplan, and won easily. No point taking risks when you don't need to in the slightest, and when it cost you before.

It's not his fault captain lardass turned up without any sort of plan, and slobbed through 12 rounds. I suspect if Ruiz had shown any ambition, he would have left himself open enough to be stopped.

Using yesterday's gameplan, Joshua has a better chance. Four inches and with those heavy hands can keep Max at bay and win a comfortable decision.

I sees it as the same as last nights fight. Baer pushing Joshua onto the backfoot with Joshua winning a comfortable decision.

In their fight, Carnera actually looked to be outboxing Max for several rounds whenever Max didn't have him on the canvas.

I see it starting off that way until Joshua realizes how easy Baer is to hit.

If he trades with Baer, he is going to be beaten!

He'd be silly to trade with Baer, but he could safely throw a lot more 1-2s, lead rights, and lead hooks against Baer than he did against Ruiz.
