1 punch ends Joshua's running, what he nailed Fury with in the 12th would keep Joshua on the canvas and retire him...

One punch from Joshua ends Wilder's holding the WBC belt hostage.

I saw year after year of people on this forum that criticized Wlad Klitschko for his Jab and Grab tactics while he was champion, called him the Octopuss protecting his China Chin! Most of those people are AJ FanBoyz today that defend him because he fights for the UK which is all that really matters to them, if Klitschko was British they would have loved him immensely!

Wilder will not have the luxury of leaving it to the later rounds. Joshua has an accurate straight right which would be kryptonite for a zero defence Wilder.

He might have the power to do it but at what cost? I guess you could say his chin is a weakness, but other great fighters had weak chins as well and adapted around it when they needed to. I’m not saying AJ is great yet, I’m just trying to be fair using the same criteria. I believe he is very flawed, but I also liked this victory, he came back from adversity to win in style imo.

When you look at it in a clinical way it doesn’t look impressive at all, Ruiz was clearly not in great shape and if AJ did this in June it would have been meh, but the circumstances made the victory impressive and that’s what I am taking into account as well. When everything is on the line like that, a fighter either rises to the occasion, or succumbs to the pressure. I believe Joshua somewhat rose to the occasion as a champ should, it was a dominant win.

I might be contradicting myself here but if they had a third fight, I’d probably expect AJ to press for the KO more, especially if Ruiz was even more of a blimp than he is now. The pressure would be off a bit.

Wilder wishes he could box like Joshua did last night.

Aj is a great "boxer" but like wilder says ,he only has to be perfect for 2 seconds, and chances are that hajj won't be able to withstand his power and recovery as we saw when ruiz knocked him down, however joshua is dangerous to wilder because of how long it takes wilder to find that punch

That type of gameplan would give Wilder fits. His fans are scared again

But against a high quality boxer he struggles to find that 2 second window and even when he finds it late, as per Fury, his power isn’t always fight ending.

I’d wager Joshua’s greater technical ability will create a chance to land a bomb before Wilder and unlike Fury’s featherfists (which troubled Wilder) Joshua’s bombs spell trouble!

If Wilder employed this tactic against Ortiz in the rematch, you guys would be saying the opposite. Wilder is saying what many fans are thinking, but in my book, a win is a win.

Put it this way if it was roles reversed and AJ was in Wilder position do you think he will make a comment like Wilder? Yes I know Americans love to emulate their POTUS on social media - I guess that explains their ramblings and usual lack of decorum

Hearn will make sure Joshua will never fight Wilder by sending bogus contracts that no fool with a title would sign, it's pure crap when you read the fine print! Hearn is a Snake Oil Salesman!!

Maybe. But if Ortiz was able to shut out Wilder for almost 7 rounds despite being ancient and far less mobile. AJ with the same approach as last night gives Wilder fits. Not to mention he nailed Ruiz with some right hands that a lot of heavies including Wilder probably wouldn't be able to take.
