Do you think AJ will give Ruiz jnr the rematch or will he just stay clear?

the Cash Cow wouldn't exist without the Band Boy type FanBoyz gladly emptying their wallets to Joshua and Hearn, it's a Soccer Fan Mentality and they Feed on it to fill their pockets!

It may happen again, not sure if it should but it will keep Wilder at bay and endear us all to more drivel...

The selling point is that Joshua ran all night and wouldn't engage in a fight.

People want to see a fight and pay good money to watch one...

    Gone are the days of...

    Bowe vs Holyfield Slug-Fest's!!

Not afraid to exchange and take shots, take chances, give people their money's worth... along comes guys like Lennox Lewis and then Waldo Klit later who were safety first usually boring fighters...

I have DVD's of Lennox Lewis fights where the Commentators state that Americans are not fans of Lewis because he's a Safety First Boring Fighter... I think they say that also on the buildup to him getting KTFO by Oliver McCall...

Holyfield was impressed with Ruiz in Sparring because it was Slug-Fest's with headgear on... it wasn't Holyfield jabbing, grabbing and running trying to win rounds, it was a real fight!

I sometimes think Hearn and co are posting on here??

The fanboys on here are repeating the same nauseating rubbish spouted on sky sports

I respect peoples opinions, when they are their own!

Can't take nothing away from Joshua, he looked real good in there with his movements, he was moving like a welter. Haven't seen a heavyweight move like that since Ali. Still, Ruiz deserves a rubber match. People who don't wanna see that is scared for AJ because they saw the fear and weakness in his chin and they know Ruiz will adjust his game plan. You can't use this fight to try and justify the first fight as a fluke because Ruiz actually beat him down in that fight. A third fight is warranted and should be mandatory.

Ruiz has got his name indelibly imprinted in the annals of both boxing and Mexican history by winning the World Heavyweight title, allied with a sound bank balance courtesy of his 2 bouts with AJ, whatever happens now is just a bonus.

A fitter Ruiz still has decent bouts and paydays ahead of him if he chooses to continue, whether that is at world title level i'm not so sure.

Whatever Ruiz now decides to do, that June night at MSG showed the impossible is possible.

    He should move on.

Loads of fights out there for Joshua, no one wants to see him dance around a lard arse again for 12 rounds.

He got a shock, learned a lesson and managed to put it right nd should move onto the next.

    Usyk, wilder, fury next please.

I agree completely, except that AJ boiled off muscle to be 246, not 235. That would be too light for him at a still muscular 6' 6".
But RUIZ would be best ~ 235. He still would be about 25% bf, but have better work rate, foot speed & stamina.

Still curious to see how Ruiz would have dealt with the bodybuilder at 267lb like the first fight. Joshua started strong, but wasn't a massive difference between the punches landed between the two. Joshua spent more time skipping from side to side than punching against that gluttonous blob.

He might still be dangerous to AJ. AJ had to be fully engaged and very careful. I would like to see it. But he doesn't deserve the opportunity / payday yet. Fat blob.

Frankly I can't see the point at the moment. There are other fights out there for AJ and the Alphabet Boys will be putting pressure on him with mandatory challengers. If Ruiz could get a couple of decent wins and look good doing it, people would probably be interested in paying to watch a third fight. Ruiz will have to come packaged as Kryptonite again.
