If Wilder want to be recognized as legit he needs to fight Ruiz

So you’re saying that Fury already beat Wilder, he’s getting ready to fight Fury again(who now has Arum behind him and is the best HW in the world according to the ring), and in the same breath as saying that, you keep claiming that he refuses to fight a live body and needs to step up to Ruiz, who just got dominated yesterday?

Let me repeat my original question, how on earth does that make any sense to you?

In your other post you talk about Ortiz being unable to KO Hammer and Scott, why don’t you talk about Ruiz going the distance with and looking like **** against the corpses of Liakhiovich(a fight that could’ve easily been a draw) or Kevin Johnson last year?

Regarding Fury, Every one is telling Wilder that he lost to Fury, he got a draw and his perfect record blemished, he would’ve officially lost had he not scored the late KD, and despite all that, he doesn’t think that Fury is a dangerous opponent, yet he thinks Ruiz who looked absolute **** last night( and looked as such in many fights before that) is? Did you seriously type that crap with a straight face?

And you said in the OP that Wilder would need to prove himself against Ruiz if he beats Fury. How do you possibly not prove yourself against Fury, but do so against a far inferior opponent to him?

I’m not talking about what Wilder thinks, I’m talking about what you think. How in your crazy world did you manage to convince yourself that Ruiz would be a bigger challenge than Fury?

And boxing is a lot more than just punching power. Fury is a far, far, far more dangerous opponent than anyone for Wilder, maybe, except for Joshua.

Fury > Ruiz, agree. But with those two the results depend on whether they walked past a hotdog stand on the way to the fight or not. The fitness standards in todays HW division are horrible.

 

Exactly. Everyone thinks that Wilder lost to Fury, everyone is telling him that he lost and he would’ve officially lost without the KD in the last round. You can’t say Wilder thinks Fury is easy in the same breath as saying that he lost the first fight(I aslo had Fury winning the first fight, which is why I was glad to see Wilder go after the rematch). You can’t possibly think that a guy who already beat you is easy. And knowing all that, he wanted the immadiate rematch even before Fury looked bad against Wallin. And talk about looking bad, go watch how Ruiz looked against the corpse of KingPin last year.

The reason why I’m bringing up Ruiz’s shape is to point out how bad he was. The worst version of Fury(probably the one in the Seferi fight after the lay off) would beat that 280+ lbs Ruiz.

If Wilder beats Fury in the rematch, he should step up to Joshua, not step down to Ruiz.
