Plus I don’t think it was short notice. The actual Wach fight confirmation was, but we’ve known for months Hearn wanted Whyte on this card so surely he knew as well and should’ve got into some shape
In the dressing room after the Wach fight, Mark Tibbs tells Whyte he was too open to the right hand. Whyte talks about trying to counter but then says against Wilder he’ll be able to lean off of his right hand and shoulder role all day long...
I said before Saturday that Whyte v. Wach was a dreadful fight but that was because Wach is nearly 40 and shot to bits. I expected Whyte to roll straight over him. The fact that the fight was actually competitive is not something that should please Whyte or anyone in his team. Maybe Fast Eddie wanted him to look this bad so he could get him in with the winner of Wilder - Fury.
If Dillian apologizes to the Wbc president, Al Haymon, Shelly Finkle, Deontay Wilder and the bomb squad. Maybe he will have a chance to fight in another wbc eliminator tournament for the bronze bombers shiny green belt!
He was terrible in this fight but we all know he is better than that. He was clearly out of shape and unfit, it was like the Whyte of old only less fit. He's had a massive cloud over him so I think it's fair to give him the benefit of the doubt.
This is a possibility. I believe some fighters definitely perform below the best to lure in an opponent who wouldn’t otherwise entertain them.
Thank you Ryan, this is a post I can fully respect If you wrote like this more often there would be more peace on this forum
They will be apologising real soon to Dillian The WBC interim heavyweight champion Soon to be champion once Wilder vacates
