He'd die of hotdogs and tacos after winning the title.

He punches far harder than Berbick did and has faster hands.

Tucker had the height and chin to do what AJ did, but I don`t think the others did,Smith would have taken his shots better than AJ also and had the power to stop Ruiz plus he mighht have went all out like when he blasted Witherspoon which would have been interesting.

A number of Tyson`s 80`s foes were in bad shape too.

He`d beatr Bruno because Frank couldn`t move like AJ did on Saturday and his chin would have let him down again.

Not against Tyson. I'd say the exact opposite as they prepared the best they ever could. They whipped themselves into the best shape of their careers in fear of getting squashed by Iron Mike.

Tubbs did look fairly tubby and missed that extra incentive check by, what was it...8 lbs? He still looked fast though, and came to fight.

Not sure but I think Tubbs would never fight below 235 lbs again. Tyson was his lowest weight from there on out.

Pissed me off when Boxrec took out their weights for certain fights. Not sure where to find them anymore.

Unbelievable, probably was close to 290 on fight night, a simply no show, if somebody told me that he never trained and just did some video clips of training for hype purpose I would believe it.

Trivia: was Buster in the same , better or worse shape then ruiz when he faced Holyfield ?

Ruiz has got decent stamina despite him being grossly overweight. He didn't seem too tired but looked a little subdued, to say he was willing to die in there he didn't really let it all hang out. I suppose that's easier said than done when you can't hit what you can see but it is what it is.

God knows why they come in shape like that. I think it's all psychological myself, like they think coming in really light they won't have the punching power or durability. I still can't understand how a professional athlete can be that fat if he's training his ass off.

Doing 12 rounds moving forward would be totally impossible without training.

Something’s off, such as not training enough or more likely eating massive portions of food. But it’s not like Odlanier Solis sitting on his stool against Thompson because he was so far out of shape that he couldn’t finish the fight.

Agreed, I hated it when the weights were gone.
