I fancy the extremely durable Thomas in this one Akinwade beat an over the top Tucker and lost his two biggest fights against McCall and Lewis. Thoughts?

Awful stylistic match up, it would a terrible fight, very grating. But if both are in their pomp, Pinky would have little to worry about, on the way to an easy decision.

Henry is underrated in my opinion... he had a disastrous ending to his McCall and was dreadful against Lewis... but I feel his jab was alright also... I don't think he beats Pinky in his prime but it is not going to be a blowout...

I like Akinwande in a minor upset.

I'd go with Henry especially if he can make the fight in the UK. I sure do not picture Thomas as a very good road warrior and think he'd lose a few matches he should otherwise win---if he was the one going into the lions den.

There would be little chance that any promoter would pay Pinky the money he would want to fight Akinwande in the UK. The only way Henry would have got a big UK fight is if Lewis or Bruno were on the other side of the ring as the main attraction.

Akinwande was a very good fighter, but an acquired taste who at times struggled to sell out small halls and leisure centres, let alone arenas.

Akinwade was a good fighter tall with a good jab but I think pinky would win on points in a chess match.

the other side of the coin is I sure do not see Akinwande signing for a DKP bout and fighting Thomas in Vegas either.

Not sure Ray, that Thomas gets kod. I think in prime he had an excellent chin. Even Tyson had to throw the kitchen sink at him to ko him.
