    AJ is a better fighter than Lewis was, Lewis often left his head on the center line after punching, could AJ as he is now have really beaten a prime Lewis?

    Lennox Lewis would have knocked any version of Anthony Joshua up to now out in under 8 rounds.

    I have Lennox Lewis in my top 3-5 of all time HW boxers. He was truly an all time great. Lewis was a more well rounded boxer able to box at all ranges carrying world class power.

    AJ has a certain vulnerability and is no where near as well rounded as Lewis was.

    AJ`s movement was quicker and better v Ruiz than Lewis`s was v Mercer and AJ is far better than all the fighters that went past 8 rounds v Lewis including an ageing Holy.

    This would have been a slightly more competitive version of Lewis/Grant.

    Now I know you are trolling.

    Mercer was when Lewis was still green and was the closest winning performance of his career (so it is clear you are trolling by picking this fight). I had Lewis winning that fight by 1 point on my card.

    AJ was nowhere near as durable as Holyfield. Holyfield had one of the all time great chins at HW and you know it.

    AJ has a dodgy set of whiskers on him and would not withstand the same punishment that Lewis dished out in any of his fights. AJ in this era has good enough punch resistance to be elite but against Lewis it wouldnt be good enough.

    I'll bite anyway......Lewis knocks him into next week, as he does to Wilder, and he'll comfortably UD Fury.

    Then again I might be a little biased as he's my ATG.

    Lewis couldn`t have taken AJ`s power either, he couldn`t take Rahman`s or McCall`s.

    We already seen this fight in Lewis vs Bruno, it didn’t work out for Bruno and it wouldn’t work out for AJ either.

    Even the most unmotivated LL would massacre AJ.

    Lewis in Rachman 2 & Golota mode absolutely destroys him.

    Don't tell me about centre lines and not moving his head bollocks.

    AJ boxed better v Ruiz than Bruno would have, his feet were faster than Bruno`s in that fight, he`s a better athlete and Lewis did not massacre Bruno he was being outboxed and landed a wild hook on a panicking, sloppy and tiring Bruno, AJ`s stamina was better than Bruno`s was when he fought Ruiz in their rematch, he`d destroy Frank far quicker than Lewis did.
