Jersey Joe Walcott (first black sheriff of the Camden County Sheriff Department. Lost the first time he ran but won the rematch) vs Dwight Muhammad Qawi (convicted of armed robbery). Who takes the W?

    ANOTHER GREAT THREAD!
I TAKE WALCOTT TO WIN BY A 14TH ROUND KO.
14 ROUND BECAUSE IN 1981 JERSEY JOE WAS 67 ****ING YEARS OLD.!
LETS JUST KEEP THE GREAT MATCHUPS COMING!!!! GREAT STUFF!! I LOVE YOU ALL!! You too @PhillyPhan69

You could've chosen a million boxers for the role of "convict" yet I already knew when you said sheriff that it was gonna be Walcott. That's sad

I was thinking Clint Jackson vs. Clint Jackson.

Walcott nullifies a lot of what Qawi tries to do. sure do not see Dwight winning many rounds either. question becomes if he can avoid getting busted up and make it to the finish line.

My first thought was Bob Foster vs. James Scott.

Would probably look similar to Marciano v Walcott except Qawi didn’t have Marciano’s power. Walcott by Late KO

I doubt it, Qawi is made for Foster

I see this fight going like the Marciano fight, but without the KO, Walcott wins on points.
Qawi would probably take less punishment than Rocky, but lose in the end.

if you mean that Qawi was made to beat a guy like Foster I agree with you...if not, I do not!

    Foster was a Sheriff's Deputy...not a Sheriff
