It's a fantasy matchup. People had Pac losing by KO to Oscar, Cotto, and Hatton before the fights even became a remote reality.

You got Duran, cool. Floyd walked down Canelo, Maidana, and Mosley, but ran from Pac. Mosely fought toe to toe with Canelo, but ran for survival against Pac.

What you think would happen isn't a reflection of the proven reality. Guys fight Pac differently.

 

Oscar was shot beyond shot at a weight he had not fought in close to a decade...

Cotto, decent win but Cotto also came off a career beating before plus it was a catch weight and despite throwing all but the kitchen sink at Cotto he could not get a clean stoppage and was busted up bad.

Second, ODH looked like a absolute sick ghost at the weight in and everybody under the sun knew right there and then he was cooked.....he was so shot he never ever laced them up again.

On paper a good win for the nut riders , in actuality a meaning less fight.

Canelo is flat footed. Fast feet beats him and nobody has faster feet than Pac. Weight can sometimes be overrated. When watching Pac fight against ledwaba, I bet everyone thought guys like mab and morales would be too big and too much for him. And that was the theme. When he was struggling with guys like jmm and morales at FW everyone said he would get killed by WWs.

Canelo was pretty much getting outboxed by a way past it cotto. And got outboxed easy by floyd. Heck he was outboxed by Khan. Pac don’t stop him but he dances circles around him, different class.

Where du get 118-110? It was 116-112 on 2 judges scorecard, in Vegas, floyds backyard. Whilst floyd was loaded with iV and Pac had one arm. Ok.

 

Canelo is a counter/pressure fighter, most of the punches he threw in his last two fights were counters, Manny threw more lead punches.

 

Oscar was shot in the fight prior to his bout with Manny, his trainer has even stated that also, he ate a ton of shots in that bout.

 

Manny wouldn`t be able to pierce the high guard Canelo uses now without being countered, Manny used to eat a lot of counters.
