    He’s still a “a green 6'7" 200lb beanpole amateur”

His promise before the start of the second fight that he wants to have a trilogy with Ruiz and will give him the rematch

It’s one thing to say you’d do a trilogy, any boxer going into a second fight would say that, but it’s quite another to pretend that amounts to the promise of a 3rd fight!

Chisora has been put to sleep by Dyllian Whyte. Not a very granite chin

Chinny for me means somebody who is easily knocked down or buzzed but recovers quickly. Chinny, not china.

It looks like we have a different definition of chinny. Tyson has been knocked down a couple times once by cunningham, but he comes back very well. That's chinny to me, not china.

That's the definition of chinny to me. Chinny does not mean weak chinned to me. Gets rattled / buzzed / maybe even knocked down, but recovers very well, that's what I mean by it. hmmm, this is a common definition of chinny to the people I discuss boxing with.

How is Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker careful matchmaking?

What were Wilder's first 5 defences? Let's see...

    Molina
    Duhaupas
    Szpilka
    Arreola
    Washington

    Yeah.

It’s not glass but it’s definitely questionable. He’s not really faced any big punchers worth there salt as yet so it’s hard to tell.

You don't "learn" to have a good chin. You don't get it with more experience.

You either have it or you don't. Deontay has none. That's why he is fighting old, slow guys way past their best.

David Price fought old, slow, guys well past their best. Look how It turned out for him. Wilder’s chin is average at worst, by HW standards.

See though Deontay is way more disciplined than David Price. Pricey routinely strays from his game plan (when he gets hit) and tries to turn a fight into a slugfest, allowing his old and short opponents to get into mid-range and land big bombs on him. His lack of stamina doesn't help.

Deontay has a sorts of ring-smarts about him (albeit suffering from very low general IQ) that allows him to remain disciplined, boxing from range, giving away many rounds and only reach for the big KO once the tide has turned in his favour.
