Can Wilder's PPV fortunes and Net Worth dramatically change if he signs with Eddie Hearn?

Apparently Show times paid Wilder $20 million for the Ortiz 2 fight and Ortiz $7 million for the rematch but that will be catastrophic because apparently the Wilder - Ortiz 2 fight did only 275,000 PPV's therefore making the entire affair a huge loss for Show time. Wilder apparently before this got paid $20 million for the Brazzealle fight.

It is clear Show time are definately paying Wilder out of pocket so that he does not jump ship to other promotors but there is no way in hell can they keep paying him this kind of money if he just does not have AJ's draw.

Can his PPV fortunes change if he were to sign with Matchroom Boxing and DAZN? Apparently DAZN offered him $120 million for a 3 fight deal involving Brazzealle, AJ fight, AJ rematch but he turned it down due to wishing to be loyal to Show time. Ever since AJ lost, its clear he will never have AJ's draw in the market. Maybe its best for him to say goodbye to Show time, a fighter with his string of knockouts should have made $100 million by now in his entire career

I don't think Wilder is in a bad state as you are trying to paint. Since Wlad's era there has not been as many great champs and contenders at HW making millions without fighting 1 man only. If Wilder made $20 million how is that a bad thing? I don't know what your idea of **** pay is but 48% of American's are making $18,000 a year. That's **** pay. AJ is making great money and Ortiz making $7 million coming from Cuba is the dream sweepstakes of a lifetime. Look at what Ruiz made in 2 fights, he is pretty much retirement ready. WTF is this all about with looking down on a man making millions and millions of dollars. I can understand criticizing his fight game or whatever but the money is on point without a Joshua fight.

He bet on himself. Didn’t want a rematch clause and wanted more control over his career. Even the CEO of DAZN admitted that they didn’t offer him the right package.

Wilder is not in a bad state for sure but is he generating business for his promoters compared to what he is getting paid? Don't get me wrong, a fighter with the number of knockouts Wilder has had should be getting AJ level money.

It's not about KO ratios, it's about the draw. DW still isn't CLOSE to the draw AJ is.

This is my question as to why he isn't a draw? Bad Marketing? If Floyd can make $300-400 million a fight, why cant Wilder make atleast $30-40 million a fight. Should Mayweather promote Wilder?

Wilde isn't a draw because he hasn't given the crowd/fans enough reason to want to flock to his fights. No one cares to see hard hitting giants feasting on scrubs. As it stands, he SHOULD have gone after bigger and better sooner in his career. Hell, after he won his 'title' his own promoter said he still needed work before facing someone like Wlad K.

So it's probably a combination of TERRIBLE marketing/promoting, and Wilder's horrible resume.

I half agree with you. The marketing could have been better but the resume is not the reason. Nobody at HW had a great resume at the time of Wilders rise and still today Joshua's resume is only good because of Klitschko.
If resume was an issue then GGG would have never hit big as he did. Some fighters don't get the same passes as others.

They're painful aren't they? They'll go away when AJ retires.

Wilder is not a household name in America while AJ is much more famous in his own country by comparison.

It's because Wilder sucks that's why. The US audience isn't stupid, they know a dud when they see one. Not even Don King with his promotional prowess could make a star out of Wilder. You can't make a pig fly, no matter what you try.

I never thought I would write this sentence but Deontay Wilder has check-mated his promotors and out-smarted the finance executives at PBC and Fox
