Piri Piri is not going to change the mind of any mexican fan, he hasn't had a fight in two years for God sake and before that he was gatekeeper at best It's like saying people will subscribe to Sky to see Tom Little
Underwhelming. Is Hearn just too busy to properly look after the careers of his stable. Too many are doing too little. He’s signing some great talent from over the Atlantic but his own fighters seem a little neglected. Buatsi desperately needs some kind of rivalry to drub up his profile. I really rate him but he’s just coasting along. We’re reminded of how good he is when he turns up on some bill and starches someone, then he disappears again.
Have to agree Twenty. When I started this thread everyone seemed to think Buatsi was ready for a big step up. That was almost a year ago now! And Craig Richards next would not be impressive either.
Since this thread was made, Yarde fought the #1 in the division in his backyard and almost stopped him While Buatsi fought a career Super middleweight Ryan ford who had lost 4 of his last 5 fights!
buatsi has looked good against very poor opponents but when you look at top 5 or 6 at weight he loses to all
Miklalhkin is a very underrated, good, tough, solid all rounder, Highly doubt Hearn ( if he's knowledgeable) would risk that fight.
Buatsi didnt look great in his last fight against Ryan Ford. He desperately needs to step up otherwise he will start going backwards. He arguably did so against Ford. Getting caught and looking very open You can get away with being sloppy and open against the level he has been in against. But you cant get away with it when you get into the top 10. There are so many great fights at LHW to be made. Why is he still facing 16-4 journeyman?
