He only fights B level opposition, when is he going to fight someone really good?

Not in the foreseeable future. He’s fighting bums only and his fans seem to eat it up. Crawford was once my favorite but I can’t stand the guy right now. He’s a pathetic waste of talent. We get it, he can beat bums and inferior fighters. Isn’t his next opponent coming off a controversial draw? I hope people boycott this garbage and demand more from boxing. Garbage.

Even if he stepped up, there's only 1 fight I'd wager is 50-50, and we'll still have to see how Spence's injury effects him.

So no, probably not. I'd make him decent favourite over most below MW, and a large underdog at and above MW

we’ve never seen him face a top WW and you are saying he can beat top JMWs? Those guys are a lot tougher than little Gamboa, Crawford’s biggest victory so far. He’s had a size advantage in almost every fight and is finally fighting guys his own size. Too bad none of them are even in the top 10. Before I speculate about this guy at 154, I’d like to see how he does against a good fighter at 147. So far we only have speculation.

Yes, as that division is dead, so yeah, I'll roll with that. Horn was huge on fight night so he's shown size isn't the issue.
Also Postol and Horn are better wins than Gamboa imo.
Yeah he never should've signed w Top Rank once he got to WW.

Crawford gets exposed by either Ortiz or Ennis if he stays at welter much longer.

He’s ruled two weak divisions in 135 and 140.

He’s stepped up to 147 and continued by fighting sub par opponents.

There's a few 50/50 type fights at 147 for him but they won’t be made.

I'd really like to see him vs Porter. How he deals with Porter defines a champ.

    Wasn't the Postol fight a 50-50?

The only fighter I would say has a 50-50 chance against Crawford is Spence, and even then I'd favor Crawford.

It's not his fault he was so much better than everyone else at 135 and 140.

Someone as good as Crawford isn't in 50/50 fights.

He's clear favourite over anyone from 140-154

Crawford's best win is Cuban leprechaun Gamboa who was giving away 7lbs in weight and 9'' in reach, was always glassy chinned down at his natural weight against fighters his own size, had been dropped in like 4 or 5 different fights before he fought Crawford, has been dropped in like 10 fights in total (just under a third of all of his fights lol), struggled and looked like crap in his only other outing at 135 prior to facing Crawford against Darleys Perez a fight he won via UD. That's the same Darleys Perez who soft hitting Anthony Crolla KO'd in 5 rounds a few fights later

Gamboa has only stopped 2 of his 10 opponents at 135 and one of them was shot to smithereens. Crawford vs Gamboa was a grotesque size mismatch and if the Cuban leprechaun already didn't have enough disadvantages to contend with he fought Crawford in his backyard with all four of the officials coming from the US.

Or Postol whose claim to fame is beating a past it Lucas on a freak eye injury after having spent much of the first half of the fight octopus grabbing him to death, losing to a 12-0 Josh Taylor who'd only fought one world class fighter before and had never been past 9 rounds before and who was giving away 4'' in reach. Crawford was 28-0 when he fought Postol, had a 5lb weight advantage and a slight reach advantage (Crawford has never once been at a reach disadvantage in any of his world title fights), was taking part in his 7th world title fight and had fought into or past the 10th round five times, including going the full 12 twice.

The ''Crawford ruined Postol'' argument is comical

This brutal 12 round drubbing where Crawford spent the entire duration of the fight on his bicycle inflicting minimal damage sans a couple of flash KDs beat every ounce of stuffing out of poor Postol.

Whereas these three genuinely brutal wars for the ages Postol's only claim to fame Lucas had been involved in in 3 of his 4 previous fights prior to facing Postol (all against KO punchers) took absolutely nothing out of him and he was a fresh as a daisy when he fought Postol.

Nope. Of the 4 fighters clashing for the P4P top spot (Inoue, Crawford, Lomachenko, Canelo) only Canelo & Inoue have fought real competition that could possibly beat them. That's why Inoue & Canelo are #1 & #2 and Crawford & Lomachenko are #3 & #4 imo.

Yep, as long as the sucker keep buying the crap he’s dishing, he’s going to keep serving it. He will crush this bum tonight and they will start calling him an ATG. Another can crushed. Most talented fighter in the eyes of many and he’s on free tv. I am starting to strongly dislike Crawford because he’s playing fans. Tonight is almost an exhibition.
