I don't think it's wise to bring fighters who never attempted to jump up 8 weight classes. I don't think Salvador and Pep fought that high up in weight. So as good as they was they should be excluded from this topic at hand and not ever brought up again. Please be mindful.

To be honest, I don't think a strength and conditioning coach would have made much of a difference.

Why did you bring Pep and Sanchez up in the discussion? I don't get the the connection. Let me see the dots and connect them for me...

What on earth are you talking about?

    The Mayweather reign?

Manny is not clearly better than the Fab Four.

This post is even worse than your one regarding Tyson last week.

Whilst I respect your opinion, I don't know how you can say you'd have favoured Manny over Marvin, but you'd have given him zero chance against Ray, based on Ray being 5'10, fast and skilled, with an iron chin.

Marvin was also as tall as Ray, very skilled, whilst also possessing an iron chin, as well as a 75" reach and more power than Ray.

Floyd wouldn't have schooled Canelo at MW. He wouldn't even fight him at the JMW limit.

How can the WW of the past 15 years have been the best ever?

Trinidad, Oscar and Shane were in their primes in the late 90's-early 00's.

The versions of Oscar and Shane who Manny and Floyd faced were badly faded.

    JMM wasn't a WW.

Roy and Bernard were better on a H2H basis.

You clearly don't possess much knowledge of the Fab Four.

    Come on now.

    Oscar was done.

He'd looked bad against Forbes, before looking ill at the weigh-in for the Manny fight. Look at his fight night weight. Even Roach knew he was finished.

It's nothing to do with bias.

    It's based on logic.

Ranking guys on overall achievements and looking at H2H match ups are 2 entirely different things.

    Yes it does.

    Manny had more fights.

    He took more punishment.

    He was knocked cold.

Floyd could have fought for longer had he have wanted to.

Yes, I agree that Floyd would always have beaten Manny.

    Can you please elaborate?

I'm not sure what point you're making.
