    How do you guys rate Bud’s defensive skills? I honestly think he has holes in his defense. He’s always been more of an offensive fighter who likes to scrap rather than a boxing defense wizard, although he is highly skilled with a mean streak.

    For me I give his defense a B.

    Defense is a B. It's good, but he's not a defensive wizard.

    Crawford defensive skills are so so but his power and his chin can offset his weak defense.

    He has A- defense. He doesn’t focus on defense al of the time, but he has it if needed.

    It's not his defense or offense that makes him special. It's his ability to adapt and his mean streak. He's really a unique different kind of fighter.

    This. Problem tonight was he was throwing punches and not moving at all giving MM a chance to counter. Once he started to punch and move the fight was over.

    A great defensive fighter has good defense all the time. Crawford great defense when he's focusing on defense but when he turns up his offense it fades.

    His defense is good, but it's not great. He is very hittable. The Gamboa fight exposed it. It's one of the reasons i say Spence vs Crawford is a 50/50 fight. Spence is a different animal and he gets stronger and stronger as the fight goes on. I see people picking Crawford to beat Spence now since the accident. Time will tell soon.

    I picked him to beat Spence before the accident. Now I'm picking him to beat him by stoppage.

    I pick Spence to beat him before the accident. I have to see Spence fight again after the accident to see if he still the same fighter.
