Rumours flying around that peter fury is back in ! John fury demanded to be in control of Tyson’s camp , lots of changes including a camp free of media including a January 10 th cut off point to promote fight etc

Very odd but I think it could be a good move. Tyson could do with somebody a bit stronger, but it sounded like they had a good working relationship so who knows what’s best.

That was always a weird choice for a head trainer anyway.

    I disagree
I thought (only looking from the outside) Ben did a great job with Tyson.
I thought his corner advice was spot on and they appeared to have a good relationship

Shhhhhhhh, I hear some rustling in the wind.....can it be? No please, nnn, no not that, please god no! It can't be! Another excuse if Fury has a less than stellar performance in the rematch. LOL In the first fight, Fury was reduced to a self shatting mongaloid, with a suicidal disposition that was too fat to sit up straight, to drunk to walk and spun out of his mind on cocaine.

Wish he would go back with Peter Fury, Fury was a lot better and more disciplined around him.

I certainly hope Big John stepped up and took reins.

Has the mayweathers ever demonstrated in being able to improve any fighter that came to them? Never really seen it, just floyd really pulls it off.

I think their style has to be more of something that has to be truly ingrained into the fighter from start. Not like manny steward who was famous for being a “hired gun” and Freddie roach. Both guys focused on fundamentals, not changing styles, to
    Improve a fighter.

We saw it with steward with Lewis and Wlad. Roach did it with cotto (revived his career), Khan (has his best run with roach), provodnikov. Seems to have a knack for making fighters that much better than they currently are.

I have to somewhat agree here.
While I have no idea as to how good or bad Davison is as a trainer, I am 100% certain that he is one of those "yes men".
Davison was there to stroke Fury´s ego. And of course the moment things go wrong, Fury blames it on Davison
Fury is such a fraud. Unbelievable how many people give AJ **** for being "fake" while Fury seems to get a free pass.

They take what the fighters have and add to it.
Floyd Sr. revamped a fighters entire style to his own fitting. Yeah, good luck with that.
