Nah, I do not agree. He was polite & reasonable throughout.
Max was aggresive in questioning him, I do not know that this, or Crawford, should be considered "contentious"-of you are rational & polite but happen to disagree, why not express it?

I do think Crawford was not correct when he assumed Kellerman did not like Atlas. There was no support for that beief, he was just asking the question absent stating an opinion.
But also Max is referring to the whole history of boxing, & Atlas would only claim to have seen a minority of that.

Crawford is immodest, but politely so, about the level of his skills.
This confidence likely helps his performance, though I doubt he is the greatest switch hitter ever.

Max talks too much about bs. He should have been a gossip columnist. He knows numbers and stats but he can't relate to the soul of a fighter and that's what Crawford told him. Max needs to kick rocks. People on here tripping cause Crawford got knocked down( and it was a knockdown) and acting like he is some how less of a fighter when the only effect it had was to awaken a monster. No one is commenting on the transformation of Crawford after that knock down and the relentless and brutal assault that he visited upon Kavaliauskas. His mind was clicking 100% and his feet and hands were in rhythm together. Did anybody notice the moves he made in the ninth when he dropped him with that right uppercut. He took the fight right outta dude and that's why he walked over and hit him with that right hook like he owned him. The man was magnificent and I dare say that he won't get a fight from anybody over at PBC.

Floyd Patterson is one of the few fighters who could make a Max Kellerman interview respectable to watch.

Not inside the ring. Always kept his cool.
Crawford often gets dragged into brawls.
