Ruiz was a disgrace to himself and the sport. No self control. It's the same reason why many people are perpetually broke, ect. No self control.

 

To elaborate:

Average working stiff does 8-12 hours per day. Probably can't get away with wearing a wrinkled suit or uniform. Has to fulfill job requirements. In other words, can't be a slob.

All Ruiz had to do in order to do his job was put in half that time every day, and control what he stuffed his face with....stay off booze and dope. In other words, a lot like what the average guy does to be responsible, but with much less time "in the office" and with much, much higher pay.

Yeah, he took his fans and boxing for a ride. Loser.

Ruiz can buy millions of Snickers Bars with the money he made chasing Joshua around for 12 rounds eating jabs!

 

Always been the belief that different fighters perform better at their optimum weights for their build and stature. Ruiz mid 260s, Joshua late 230s, Wilder late 220s etc.

 

there needs to be a 300 pound minimum weight "ButterBall Super Duper Heavyweight Division" which is Ruiz's walking around weight anyways, also Fury's walking around between fights weight, his WWE weight, Dustin Nichols is 459 pounds fighting or not... Whyte and Miller off Roids would just need to add another Buffet or Two per week to exceed the 300 pound minimum and likely far exceed 300 pounds between fight camps anyways!! It would be the Western Version of Sumo Wrestling with Boxing Gloves on!!! It's fits since Western countries don't have huge populations like India and China but each person eats more than 5 or 10 people in those countries do!!
