Louis was an accurate combination puncher- text book but If you look at his KO's over Conn, Walcott, Schmeling 2 they were 6-punch combo's like walking into a buzz saw

I think pinpoint punching would be Walcott, his KO over Charles and KD's over Louis and Marciano - clever sneaky with some crafty footwork - Ali was a pin point puncher when he rocked Lyle with the right hand causing tko- Liston 2 anchor punch- Foreman right hand, Floyd Mayweather against Canelo- Hatton -Gatti- .... Louis for me had a variety of punches but more of a power-combo puncher....Vlad against Brock- Chambers-.....Ray Leonard vs Price, Dave Green,

Jimmy Ellis was a pretty good pin point puncher - I remember him hurting Shavers with a sneaky right hand before walking into an uppercut bomb- also 2 kd's vs Bonavena I had ringside seats for that 1st rd KO over Ellis and then Quarry returning the favor to Shavers in 1 rd- !1 round but I got my money's worth in both fights

I guess Louis could be considered pin point some of his fights

That's what I was saying he was more of a combination power puncher - only because Louis had power on every punch even his jab- He was accurate but for me pin point punchers are fighter who watch for opening and counter - case in point- Walcott vs Charles- Louis - Floyd vs Hatton - Tunney vs Dempsey flash KD

Louis did have some fights in which he countered very well with pin point punches
