Michael Carbajal. A warrior at the lower weights and always in a great fight. Underrated fighter.

 

Yep. They (JCC’s team) we’re in Phoenix, AZ in Carbajal’s gym.

 

Carbajal was a legit great fighter. He came to fight and he hit hard. He had three fights against Humberto Gonzales-winning the first fight.

 

if I am not mistaken. Michael called himself little hands of stone after Roberto Duran.

 

Carbajal usually shows up at IBHOF each year. One year Grazi banned him from the pub I think 2009. Dude got drunk as #$#@ little dude got strength! He's aged a bit so I had to guess it was him, plus that long lock of hair is either cut off or the cap hides it.

 

The press anointed him! I agreed. Got a Ring magazine with him front cover called the 'Little Hands of Stones"

 

His final fight he beat Jorge Arce, crazy good way to go out.

Envision this- he gets up from the bar stool we are standing face to face (i'm 6'0 175) He looked me up & down, then he smiled, saw that gold tooth! He never said yes.
He just grabbed me by my waist...GOD give me just if I lie...in one swoop, he spun me!
In a nano second I was at his side, when I realized it, my boy took the pic...and I'm cheezin' my ass off on this picture.

Now I know how he spins/turned his foes so easily. Bro, I'm 175! He was retired. He spun me rise rise round like a record baby!

Ok the press called him that not he? It has been a lot of years. If I am not mistaken did he become pro on the night of Barkley vs. Duran at MSG? I could be wrong. He might have fought on that card.
