The guy robbed was Lewis in the first fight. It was not competitive whatsoever. Proper scoring and there never is a rematch for Holyfield.

No. It was a close fight where Holyfield performed much better, but Lewis still probably deserved the nod.

Either way, certainly not a robbery.

Not really. 1st fight sham or a robbery against Lennox. 2nd fight narrowly for Lennox.
stats claim 195-137 for Lewis. 1st fight not sure I believe it but stats claim 348 to 130 for Lennox. I'd say 250 to 130? either way one of the sorriest fights ever scored.

I also think Mercer did better with Lewis than Holy. stats claim a 12 punch difference, I agree.
Mercer felt he won because most of Lennox shots were jabs

Holyfield just wasn't busy enough in both fights. He was in his late 30s though. If the fight took place 4 years earlier he would have had a better chance.

No. I didn't even see it as being close.

I thought Holyfield won by one point. He blocked many punches of Lewis with his gloves. All in all I think a draw and a loss is fair.

No. He made it harder for Lewis but I still had Lewis winning. A clear cut 115-113.

I thought the second fight was close. Holyfield did a much better job at keeping the fight at mid range and making Lewis fight for 3 minutes a round (or that’s how I remember it at least)

Admittedly i had it 7-5 for Lewis, but give Holyfield some of the closer rounds then a draw or a 7-5 decision in his favour was possible.

No. Fight was closer than the first which was a robbery.

No way, Lewis finally got the belts he should have received in the first place.

From memory Lewis won the first fight clearly winning 10 rounds

He won the rematch clearly winning 7 or 8 rounds

    The rematch was closer yes.

But it was a clear win for Lewis.
